    ok so i just went to the LTSA in Kingsland to see what i need to fix to get it passed them, rode in, first thing, the lights are not quite right for their light angle box thingy..... bollocks, fallen at the first hurdle. but then the English dude who is doing the WOF, pulls out a wee screw driver and starts to fiddle with the bike and gets the lights aligned then sends me in to get the paper work, bring it back out to him... tick tick tick, and your away. Sweet.

    I have never had a vehicle this old before and never got through a WOF at this place with out somthing needing to be fixed, so i super stoaked. Didn't want to go there but its close to work and my options were limited.

    So now even if i'm not legal, at least my bike is.

    I also bought one a few months back. I had to source some parts to complete the bike - fairings, bar ends and few other bits and pieces. Except for the painting of the fairings, it is as original as you can get. I'd have to say that I enjoy riding this bike more than the GSXR750V that I also own. A lot less effort to ride and quite enjoyable at legal speed. I also managed to source a set of decals from UK for this bike costing ~13 pounds including air freight - high quality. I will be puuting it on once I get it repainted. Here is the link to the bike before/after work done on it;

    Looks pretty good [for a honda]...many enjoyable miles for you and your cool new steed.
    $10,000 for the number plate, seems like a fair price to associate with me. [PT]

    Very nice looking bike, and all the better since you did it yourself. Grats on the warrant, that's at least a little less you'll need to pay the next time you get

    cheers mate. yeah gettin the bike legal was important for more then one reason and that was one. I just have to play nice till i get legal and hope to keep a low profile. The loud can doesn't really help though, it sounds like its going faster then it really is....
