    painting.....

    how do i go about painting my bros650? i need to strip the tank down after its panel beated. its going to be hell red or rossa corsa red or i might be crazy and go mazda metallic blue. but i think red is ideal. so what must i do in order to spray her? eg primer and clear coats. does anyone reccomend somebody to do it for me if im not good enough?

    if you are painting just the metal, then you need primer or etch primer if its bare metal, paint and clear top coat laquer. If you are spraying any plastic or fibreglass, you need to get addatives which will allow the paint to flex without cracking or breaking. its worth getting the spray job done by a pro if you want a really good job. I sprayed my bike out of a can, but only to check that i liked the colour scheme and to tie me over till i have time to leave it at the paint shop for a proper 2 pac job.

    im getting this tailpiece which is fibreglass and this carbon front fender. i want to paint the tailpiece and the tank red. mmmmm carbon. i just have to pm eurodave and tell him when to do the tailpiece. eg now
