,,,, so all in all i suppose you could say it was a typical KB group ride,,,
Not quite. Noone crashed. And as far as I am aware , all L platers safely back again. And much smoother riding on the way back than the way up. Well done.

And, by and large all legal too (apart from a few learners without L platers, and a little tolerance on speed limits, but all sensible).

Only one prick in a cage got impatient as far as I know, stormed past me (I was riding shotgun in far right of lane) in the gravel on the opposite side verge, pushed into the group and stuck 2 foot behind an L plate. But, only for a few minutes , then he went off and didn't try it again. Otherwise, thanks to some very patient cagers, and apologies to the not quite so patient SUV that hovered behind on the run back into Kaucop.

And thanks to Gremlin, Weasel for organising it, and to the instructors, leader and pointers for their efforts and wise advice.

Everyone made it back safely to Westgate Shell.

It was a nice ride for me, I had a lovely blast up SH16 from Silverdale catching up with you guys at the Pub. The only hazard I encounted was a juicy squashed possum in the middle of a fast corner.

Otherwise, as Ixion mentioned, the cagers were really good today and I had no problem passing, even on the hills.

Gremlin, where are the fucken pictures? you've had long enough to get your scooter home and in the garage.

    Pictures at Shell Westgate

Here are some pictures taken at Shell Westgate at the start of the ride, after I went home on returning I forgot to grab my bag with the Camera in it.

Most of them are Texmo pulling wheelies, I got some good video footage of him doing them too, will upload the videos later.

    Videos of Texmo

These are nice small videos, under 3 megabytes each and with sound too, so you can hear that little thing singing.

    Nice wheelies Texmo.
