    Stolen bikes

If anyone gets offered a TLM200 or Fantic trials bike for cheap, drop us a line - or call the cops, whatever. Neither are worth much to start with. The tlm (honda two stroke) has a frankensteined rear guard & the fantic has a totally stuffed one.
Is there some place out of Auckland that's a happier place to live (meaning less crime, dorkland sux at the best of times, born & bred here, but maybe time to get the hell out).
Have to admit Rotorua's getting more tempting, just the employment may be the problem?
Anyway, if you spot either bikes, please yell out (why do I have suspicion about the KR ute being nicked the night before - ideal steal-a-bike wagon) - wankers.
Cheers (sorry, I've hit the wine before my whine).

Who the FUCK would steal a couple of trials bikes? Can't imagine the used parts market is too shit hot. Although, they're probably untracable.

    Cunts.

Dunno who would steal them. Initially suspected the same cunt that stole the bsa bantam & dt125 a couple of years back, but starting to wonder now. Things have been wierd here.
Thought it was kids bored on their holidays, but not sure - used bolt cutters.
Don't really want to say more as don't trust the internet that much.
And yeah, all thieves should be hung up by their balls until their eyeballs bleed (if they don't have balls, use their man-breasts/female-breasts, whatever, I just want to see their eyeballs bleed & throw stones).
    Why was stoning banned anyway?

Shit, you mean if I get offered a cheap Fantic I have to turn it in? That sucks!

What year is the Fantic...twinshock or mono? 99% of motorcyclists wouldn't know what a TLM200 was,so why the fuck would anyone steal one? These low life don't care what they steal, they just steal, pricks. You're right about Auckland,I got out last year and it's bliss. For all it's bad rep Huntly is like paradise compared to West Auckland.

If the TLM200 turns up in the trials community the ripples will spread far and wide, they are rare and spark interest if one appears at a trial.I need to know more about the Fantic though, year and model atleast.

I posted before about this , NZ is such a small place . there are 30 000 people who buy bike mags ( roughly ) and I know how many containers of bike are going to nz ..( a lot of top end Harleys ) we are wondering who is buying them and where the money is coming from ,

As for theft ,,where are you going to sell the bike ? Joy riding I can understand , but that means at some point the bike will be abandoned as one assumes reclaimed

Broken for spare parts ? Sold on Tard me? Shipped to Australia/back to Japan ..

I had my Bandit Stolen in Japan a few years back with in 3 days I had it back ...My boss has her bicycle stolen 5 years ago and the police rang up the other day to say they had found it ... Amazing

So if theft can be treated as a high priority case in a country with a gazillion people How come 2 rare and rather odd looking aprilias go missing???? and one assumes not found ( not many posts about my bike has been found !)

Sorry to hear about the loss of your bike , I am on the side of those people who think bike thieves should be shot ( actually I would like to see hands missing ...simple and effective ..and with them for the rest of their lives..the thieving scuzzys

And what bike thief could have a use for a trials bike? They wouldn't have a clue....but it depends on how deep in the bush your plantation is.....

    91. Nick Kershaw had one the same a few years back, dunno if he's still got it as that was the one trial we ever went to.
With the Aprilia, I thought it was one bike & a couple of threads.
The ktm supermoto's never turned up either.
TLM is a mono shock, mid 80's, red tank & seat. There was something like 20 imported into the country, so yeah, it's a rare beast - fork seals were stuffed.
They were both rat bikes bought cheap to see if we liked trials - don't have time for it, so never updated.

I'll keep my eye out.The TLM200 is an inbetween bike, basicly the same as my TLR200,but with a 2 stroke and mono shock.Totaly uncompetitive with the modern mono shock bikes, but unable to be ridden with the twinshocks even though it was made in the same years as the TLR.The Fantic is an early Modern, and a good starter bike.

I don't think they will appear in the trials scene...as I mentioned before, more likely be used to get into a dope plantation.

The happier place to live where theres not much crime etc = Tauranga.
But we dont want anymore jaffas coz we want the crime to stay low.
But we could give you an exemption
And I reckon do the opposite, hang them by their eyes and watch their balls bleed.
