    Was that truck harassing you?

    Hiya,

If you were the motorcyclist being harassed by that truck driver about two days ago, the truck's rego is: AHP786

I wrote it down as I was walking by... I would have given it to you, but the lights changed.

This was while you were heading south (away from the city towards the airport), at the intersection of Pah Road and Mt. Albert Road in Auckland.

    Cheers

Wasn't me,either the biker or the truck driver.
Friendly advice mate,in the future, don't post these kind of details on the open forum.
You can ask questions of this kind whithout the details and then if you get a reply you can pass info on without EVERYCUNT getting on your case.
    And belive me mate,,,they will.
    Cheers.

I don't really know what happened up the road, but the bike stopped quite peacefully behind a car at the lights. Then the truck suddenly stopped along the bike and the truckie just started spewing his lungs out. Like I said, I don't really know what happened, but there's not much a 250cc commuter can do to a big huge truck and trailer unit.....

Well, I think the lady driving the car was more worried about what would happen when the lights changed!

Perhaps the truckie almost turned the biker into roadkill after a stupid move by the biker? Have you got the bikers number so if the truckie is on here he can sort it?

Why not. If some truck driver is getting himself all in a rage over god knows what then why should the truck not be identified so that other bikers can be informed of his attitude. Seems to me that that is a responsible attitude.

    Because ...

    1. It might not be the same driver in the truck the next time it's seen.

    2. As zaq said, he doesn't know what happened up the road that led to this. Maybe the biker deserved a bollocking.

    3. There's all sorts of nutters out there, and do we really want personal details put on here? That's why people remove number plate details before posting pics here, and that's we PM contact details to each other rather than posting for all to see.

I'm not trying to defend the trucker but, without all the facts, he has to be presumed innocent.

You've really got no idea how things work around here have you?
