Have you taken your bike over any sweet jumps?
accidentally left scuffy in first the other day....put the stand down and was dismounting...let the clutch go and the bitch lept out from under me....luckily i already had my leg over so was able to get up underneath her to stop her dropping, but shit was she heavy....full tank and everything....
bout 5 mins later and enough begging for her to stand up on her own, i finally get her upright enough to force the stand down to hold her....not a single scratch...only damage was a tiny bit of scuffing to the foot peg![]()
walked around shaking for a while from the struggle to get her up and then wobbled away to work....bit sore that day and lost a bit of gas due to the choke being out [thought id somehow made a hole somewhere!]
funny how when dropping a bike in a crowded place [like, not falling, but dropping] you suddenly have superman strength to be able to get her up again...lol.

Stretching the limits of physics
That in Japan one of the requirements to ride a motorcycle is that you are able to pick it up, unaided from it lying on its side. Otherwise if you cannot do this then you may not ride it. I found this concept acceptable and thought I'd stick to it. Quite a few years ago I brought a 76 CB750 ex Police/MOT bike. Thing was extremely heavy and back then I was only about 72kg. Got it lying down on the frount lawn and gave it a go. Almost blew a poopoo valve picking the thing up. For some stoopid reason I decided to try it again after the initial success. There was no way I could do it again and needed a friend to help me pick it back up again. Did not have it much longer and would probably not buy one again, although I seem to be able to lift more than what I could lift back then.![]()
