The early rumours had the 14 had 200+ hp but it seems they were just that - rumours, and yes 190hp is enough.

It also seems that the 1400 engine is going to serve Kawasaki for quite a while, they are really looking to the future. Afterall its going to be used for thr ZZR, Z, and the GTR.

Nope, according to Kawasaki NZ the ZZR is $21,000. A bargain really.

Ok, it's 10 kilos lighter than my GSX1400, has another 84 horsepower and another 23nms of torque and 15nms more torque than a Busa.

If it handles better than my 14, I wanna get one.

The new GTR1400 looks damn fine as well. Maybe I should be in lust with that too...

    Wow!
    The Vorderradbremese are Petal-DoppelShceibenbremse!
And the Trockengewicht!! 219kg! Thats a really good trockengewicht for a 1400cc bike
    Impressive stuff.
The 12R is werkelijk hard op banden.Ik kan slechts veronderstellen 14R nog slechter zal zijn.

Kawaskai U.K have just released these figures: 8,995 + tax (pounds that is). Sounds reasonable.

    dunno.

Using XE.com currency conversion that makes NZ$23,080.72. With the Hayabusa (sp?) dropping below $20k and that $23000 being excluding tax I thought they could have made it a little more competitive. You never know what they will go for here though.

As quoted on Kawasaki NZ's web site, so it should have some voracity.
