Hey Kels all the best for the op.
I've had mine done years ago. You'll wanna take the 6 weeks. It isn't fun and you won't want to buggar up the op and go through it again. Hope its not your main hand, or that you're only getting the one done-Its a buggar trying to do the essentials.
You maybe able to drive if you have an auto in two weeks, but hard to ride when your hand is wrapped up like a drumstick.

All the best for the op Kels!!! I think two weeks to get back on the bike might be pushing it though. Ask Crashe she had that sort of op last year, I think. I would be erring on the side of caution.

    Take care!!

Yeah rest it up good kelz, don't wanna be riding with extraneous degrees of pain and have something happen on the bike. Among other more important consequences you might have to paint it again...

    Hi ya:spudwave:

I had both wrists done at the same time last year

    Makes life so much better

Good luck and I am sure that you will be happy with the result.

Don't worry about being of the bike just relax and heal

How long was I of the bike, not so long, but if I could do it again I would not have pushed as hard as I did.

    Regards

Once again thanks all to those that sent messages.

Well one week down and 5 to go!
They told me I can go to the docs and have the stitches out on Saturday...my reply was "No need to visit the doctors...I can do it myself" They kinda looked at me oddly I have no idea why.
