met one of these the other day, shes been on my bike every day since, bonus is that in my case she gives good massages (back and other unmentionables) while commuting through the traffic, and theres no one to tell us off either way - gonna miss it when she goes back to wellington in a couple of weeks.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
My wife's the perfect pillion..........................because she is.

Actually she is great for someone who wanted nothing to do with bikes. Speed doesn't worry her, but when lean angles get to 30 degrees or more, or in fast transitions she gets a little miffed.
She's even getting used to the odd wheelie.

The best pillion I've had on the bike is my youngest son, because he doesn't move at all, and he weighs next to nothing, so it's like ThePillionThat'sNotAPillion. Next son is the AutoPilotPillion - he looks through each corner, so I don't even have to steer - just leave it up to him.
But, I prefer the vifferbabe: she has got really good at being a pillion, and moves back on straights to give me room, whereas on really twisty stuff she snuggles up close to help centralise the mass. Plus she gives me unexpected hugs and other signs of affection, the most unexpected of which was when I got 'done' for 32 km/h over the limit on the FahrtSturm. She didn't say a word, not an "I told you so!", nor a "You naughty, naughty boy!" Just a big hug. She said afterwards she knew I'd be feeling stink about it.
The vifferbabe also doesn't freak out (now) about the occasional wheelie or whatnot; when I say, "Uh... did you notice we were on one wheel for a while there?" she'll say, "Yeah - I thought that's what it was." A far cry from when excessive speed would get me a sound shoulder-beating.
The latest pillion niecty from the vifferbabe is planning an Easter weekend trip away.
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
