They're open every weekend over Summer. When I was there at the weekend some guys were saying they went out after work on week nights... but I'm not sure if that's only on a certain day or what.

What a lovely track, Just watching the video , man that is just a lovely track , fast altitude changes , and the Mx track looks beautiful so green, and twenty dollars a day ...I could live there ! and just race my bike all the time ...

Wear a short skirt, bit of lippy , a few hours up and down the mean streets of Huntly ( where is huntly anyway??) and I would home and hosed ( well hosed)
No in all seriousness , awesome track ... I ll post a few of our local track one day and you can see the difference !

20 DOLLARS A DAY unbelievable , mine in Cheap 60 per day or 180 on race day dollars that is
and during the summer I am at the track most weekends and oncwe or twice during the week

20 dollars unbelievable ....I could afford to spend the entire weekend there for a whole year ,,and still have change to what it costs me here

There has to be a catch?? always in life when it seems to good , there is always a catch

who better do some work or I ll be wearing the short skirt sooner than I thought

The catch for me is time - Kimmys is only 5km from me as the crow flies,15km by road. With only one bike going - I had the DT230 stripped down to a trail bike to take to the track, but put it back to a road bike on sat arvo to ride to watch speedway in Auckland. One day a week to do everything I want - I need to get a life....

Used to ride there in the week with some other shift workers, but always by pre booking, in fact they used to let us leave money up at the house and go in when no one there, just had to get the key out of the quad tool box, all good if you don,t mind Rottys, dog was always ok with us.

As for the track before thunder valley opened it was the main track we used to ride, the moto had some good air(jumps) but the enduro track was fantastic, very fast, well set up, heaps of fun, as I recall had a very tricky little jump over a small drain about half way round. a bloody good bike park., and dam good value for money.

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.
