Was there just! First proper lap of the cabbage group we had a crash, he was okay.

I think yesterday we were lucky to get away with little more than hurt pride.

    what a great day
big ups to the RMC for giving us the chance to caine around the track
nice to meet a couple of kbers
my day started out at 6am, jumped outa bed
was ment to be on the road at 6...
    got away at ten past
    cought the group b4 turangi
freezing on the desert road! thin gloves were not up to the task
ran out of gas 2km b4 fielding, pushed it for 1km then a local farmer hooked me up a litre of fuel. THANK YOU!!!
had an absolute blast on the track
great way to come to grips with the new bike
    had a couple of "moments"
all in the head tho innit
left the breaking too late (for my comfort zone anyways) at the end of main straight one time, got the heart racing!
rear spun up coming out of the first corner a couple of times
actually yelled woohoo to myself, hehe
fixed that "problem" by rolling on the throttle instead of snapping it open.....
was good fun passing my dad round the outside :-D
even if he was on a dirt bike with road tyres....
had a great time trying to keep up with a dude on a blue yamaha (i think) with blue leathers, was a race bike
he had waaay more corner speed than me and passed me round the outside a few times
yelled woohoo agian when he passed me round the sweeper, i thought i was going fast!! lol
was nice to follow and see the faster lines, could have shot past on the straights, but thats no fun now is it!
the fast group was good, less traffic and some really good riders in there
tyres are looking pretty sweet now, as im sure all of yours are
had one of mums friends videoing and taking pictures from the stands,
she has pretty shocking camera skills.... very shakey
will see what i can edit up and will post soon
    gee,
i better stop ranting on now
    Regards, Allan.

had an awesome day, as did my mate nick. Cheers to cowpoos for the tips throughout the day, im pretty sure i got a quite a bit faster as the day progressed, was quite happy that i could 'keep up' in the fast group at the end, managed to only get passed by two people which isnt too bad for me.

Had a hairy moment leaving the corner after the front straight at full tap in second gear. I crossed the gauge in the track which sent my front and back tyres sideways at the same time - my reaction "SHIT!!!... that was fun"

Good to see the welly crew show up, and mr bills, you shoulda seen the look on cowpoos face when he found his bike

Bugger cowpoos! When me and Glenn left I noticed your bike was gone but your helmet was still there...... I kinda thought it was weird at the time, did you leave the keys in it?

I also had a good time.
1st session found out my lines were shit.
2nd session I sorted out my lines (mostly) and found I wasnt putting the power down early and was getting the learn from EVERYONE.
3rd session spent trying to pass a Buell X1...as soon as I did my lines went to shit (looking at track infront of bike not another bike) and came off early.
4th session was an exact repeat of sess4.
5th session. 2 laps, no-one to race (few bikes) came off early again.

Was good to meet some more KBers. Cola, Dr Hook, freakshow. Was good to catch up with a couple of Auck KBers too.

Great spirited ride home via the 'rapa with Velox, LBTW and poos (ta for the guiding Gary). A beer at poo's flash metro-sexual pub. Very nice poos...dont forget your boatshoes next time buddy. A tinted visor ride over the takas at 9pm. Was still amped when I got home.

Next time you are going out eh Mrs Kendog?

I had a great time out there on the track and feel so much more confident on the road now. Big thanks to the RMCC for giving me the opotunity, now the big question is when can we do that again????

Cant wait to get out on the road again with every body and i am already eyeing up new purchases.
