Yeah but the GSXR has always been seen as that slightly-pyscho kid at the back of the class with an attitude issue that not many people want to fuck with.

Who cares if they can wheelie past at 160 k's when you're right back up their arse in the twisty's. And don't even think about them in the wet.
And ultimately, a GN is a lot quicker than a thou when you've lost your licence.
    Speed doesn't kill people.
    Stupidity kills people.

Thanks for reinforcing my point Lou.

Anybody with the reddies can have one - regardless of skill. Of course with the fantasic engine comes some fairly sharpish handling - so you will not be up their arse on the twisties, the straights, the cul-de-sacs, the drive-thru's or the local track if the rider is posessed of similar ability to yours.

Loss of license? It's about throttle control the same as it is on any bike with 40+ hp, just need a LOT more control. To be fair if i could afford one i'd be haunting the back roads not the state highways. But whatever floats your boat. Not saying everybody should own one or that they suit every rider, just that they're a very impressive peice of kit.

Some things i found i liked about the bike that others dont' seem to mention a lot - completely un-zooky like build quality, titanium pipes (love that color), lumpy idle!! - that was actually my favourite feature, actually relatively comfortable to ride....
