I wish we all had an answer to that question. Unfortunately as I read somewhere on KB recently, "their(mechanics) are only human". I booked my bike into a shop a couple of weeks ago and this morning when I dropped it in they advised that they may not be able to get it done as fast as usual as one of the mechanics had been called up for Jury duty. Hardly the shops fault and definately not the mechanics fault, just one of those things.... What im trying to say is that even the best may or may not be able to deliver and it may not always be the shops fault. Good luck with your quest!

    Just a Service

Just a service LB, first at 1,000k - was meant to be taking to to Mt. Eden where we brought it from but they aren't able to do anything until Mon / Tue, and I'm and impatient bastard.

Doesn't it have to go to a Hyosung dealer? Warranty and all that.

    Yep.

As stated, impatient bastard, had a lot I wanted to do this weekend and waiting until Mon/Tue just fucks that right up. Especially when the bike was purchased we were told ring up and bring in the following day, no problems.

Which one said that, I'll go beat it outa them for ya...

I was never able to get a following day for servicing the zzr, and only got immediate attention on the 7 because it was a problem and needed to be fixed quick.

Mt Eden are always busy, normally 2-3 days they can do, chat to the mechs and you'll get an honest answer if you want it (I like Ricky, he's good).

Nope. Just simple poor planning on the shops fault. It's not like the jury knock on the door and say "wer'e taking him away right now". They tend to give you about six weeks notice of these things at least!!!

You could Try - Kerry At Motohaus, hes a good bugger! - dun think they are hyosung dealers tho..

I rocked in there friday morning and needed a new tyre fitted asap - everywhere else couldn't do it for me that day, Kerry was busy as, but still managed to fit my tyre in, i was changed and ready to run in a couple of hours - waited for him to finish the job he was on. Now I have a nice new sticky Avon..

    Cheers Kerry

To be fair, 2 or 3 days is good. I still can't get my bike on AMPS dyno, their wait is 2 or 3 weeks.
A lot of this is due to last minute work for piglets heading to Dunnydun for the HOG rally.

I would wait for the dealer to do it, unless they've authorised you going elsewhere. You don't want quibbles over warranty later on.
