Whatever happened to the Trophy 1200 out of interest ?
The contents of this post are my opinion and may not be subjected to any form of reality
It means I'm not an authority or a teacher, and may not have any experience so take things with a pinch of salt (a.k.a bullshit) rather than fact

It's pretty, but the 675 triple looks amazing. Same weight as the 650, looks better and probably sounds great.. I guess they really want to lock horns with the Japs.

I say bring it on, and I hope they'll sell bucket loads.

    What a Boad of Lollocks.

Ride what you like, and like what you ride.

You can, but only if I get to say I like the Trophy.

The take anywhere motorcycles. Go hard enough to run with the jap bikes and are cool enough to show with the Harleys. Everyone is cool with them, even the other Euros.

I like them hotted up a fair bit from standard so they charge even harder and they can be tweaked to most acceptable outputs.

Not cheap, and many are ridden by the fast rider with a touch of grey that comes with 'disposable' income.

The brand has factory supported riding association that has made me some true friends. Not just a brand of bike - there is some 'lifestyle' associated with owning one.

    Triumphs rock baby.

Good try at replicating the coolest bike Triumph ever made but...

For godsake they made a bloody hash of the pipes.... The one bit that HAD to be right and they screwed it up. They are dreadful.....

For once the header bends look OK but they are too long and they went with replicating the cooler 66/67 sort with the staggered tailpipes... Which is good but the short tail pipe ruin the balance.... Frankly, the mufflers suck. They are sticking with the parallel sides which don't work. Go for the teardrop shape. BSA was the straight sided muffler bunnies... They are pushed to the back of the bike to tuck in behind the shocks. Argh! Who cares if they are not practical as long as the look COOL!!!

The heat shields.... Oh god.... Gouge out my eyes... They are off a CL450 honda... aaarrgghh... Classic triumphs solved the muffler too far back problem with the 69/70 toast rack...

Oh well.... At least it's an acknowledgement that my own original C bike is cooler than cool.... (see below)

6 out of 10 but PLEASE Mr Bloor - Fire the person that designs your pipes....
