    Ride Forever

ACC are about to launch a safety campaign aimed at motorcyclists. Last year they targeted car drivers to look out for bikes... now they are focussing on scooter and bike riders.

There is a new website, www.rideforever.co.nz with what looks like a tonne of information on riding and keeping yourself safe.

Also, I have been handed a pile of discount vouchers for the Basic Training course and the Refresher Training course for more experienced bikers. The course is normally $90.00 - the vouchers give you $20.00 off. If you want one, you can PM me your name and address and I'll post it to you. (I think the courses are only in Auckland).

The first 100 people to enrol on one of these courses receives a FREE motorcycle safety vest. (The courses are run by John Wright and Finn Nielson).

Like I said, I have a heap of these vouchers so if I pull you over in Manukau, don't run... I just want to give you a voucher...

    Good gesture Bykey Cop.
That site is quite informative and written by someone with a pro-bike stance rather than the usual ACC biased against bikes. From ACC I would have expected something like "if you are stupid enough to want to ride then wear a helmet..."

umm that is AKLD CITY ONLY...doesn't count all the suburbs; Manukau, Waitakere, north shore etc... they are all done individually. I'm not sure which ones are in akld, so some aucklander add em all up for me? Then maybe a real comparison

edit: I get about 1000 for all of auckland... is that about right?

    Interesting website

Please can we look at other things on this site apart from the stats. There is some very, very useful info here especially for the newbie rider. Thank you Ulysses and ACC.

The only comment that I would make is that there is too much info per page but that is just is my little opinion. Awesome effort, thanks!!!
