    Classics Festival Practice

Well worth a look out at Pukekohe over the weekend. We'll have some pics of proceedings on the Kiwi Rider site.

    Shots around todays practice session.

    'istory innit.

Not many places you can walk up and have a yarn with a 4 time world champ and isle of Mann winner.

I dunno. Maybe I'm getting old (or growing up) but ten years ago, this shit held no interest what so ever to me. Now, I'm quite looking forward to getting out there for a look.

That's if any of them are still running when I get to the track.

Spent an enjoyable afternoon there today looking around the pits and watching the races. Here are a couple of pics from the sidecar race today; side cars and brollys, Harley sidecar with forward controls (and people pushing )

Those small unit Triumphs all in a row are a bit too much! Getting pretty popular for what was once considered a girls bike. When I was into them people practicaly gave the parts away, just didn't realise what a gem that little motor was compared to the bigger twins.

Someside cars I've never seen before, gunna be a treat.I've seen that Harley with the forward controls race before - I think he's just farting around with it,with conventional controls it'd be bloody fast.

Talking to one of the classic trials guys today, and he's going to be passenger on a trials sidecar display - tough call when he's never done it before.I'll be there tomorrow....
