    Biker down... :(

Just seen on Channel 3 ads for the news that a bike crashed either into or in front of a big group of bikes... Watch TV3 news at 6pm for more

I hope all involved are OK

not the sort of thing anyone likes to hear about...

But in saying that, bugger all symapthy for them. It was the outlaws poker run that was held yesterday. We saw them at the Patangata pub at lunchtime yesterday and there were alot of VERY pissed riders and the smell of weed filled the air. It was 1pm and they had been riding and stopping at pubs all morning and had many pubs to go when we left them. If any of the guys involved passed a blood alcahol test i will be very suprised!

isnt it strange how the news never mentioned pubs or booze once? normally the media would be jumping all over that sorta story

Yes it is strange that booze wasn't mentioned.

Poker runs (involving booze) on bikes isn't a good idea.

Been on some in a cage, and that was heaps of fun. (I was sober driver, and still had a ball).

Still, it is very tragic, and my condolences go to all.

yes it is sad, but the whole idea of that ride was to get pissed and ride in convoy from bar to bar, kinda asking for it. I do feel for the people who have been affected by this.... im not heartless, admitadly i was at that pub on a bike. But knowing your and the legal limits is advisable

is see the press in their usually accurate reporting called it a nissan - it was a mitsi.

ride hard/die early. not much point being an outlaw biker if you're scared of dying though is there.
