    C'mon,..Wellington Motorcylists... !!!

I still need your help with written submissions of how dangerous Helston Road is.
I've only received 2 so far (thanks, guys).
I can't do it with out your support.

All it takes is a few lines in an email to me at turbo@paradise.net.nz

    Cheers,
    NDMZ

Not at all, Col...anything will do.

If I have a stack of sublmissions, I'll have that much more weight to do something.

I guess it wouldn't matter, and thanks for your support.

Have you seen the pics I took of the road in the earlier Helston Road thread?
    The road is dangerous !!

    Cheers.

I don't know where that is. Sorry.

ha ha,..lots of emails through the back door...very mischevious !!

Basically, the road has a lot of "tar-snakes" or to use the correct term, crack sealing on it. As it's quite a tight and twisty road, these get quite slippery in the dry as the tar melts and in the wet,...well...I took the ZX-10 around there the other day, and I was down to 20km/h at one stage !!

So, as a motorcyclist, you'd know what very slippery surfaces are like to ride on.
If you can elaborate from there, it would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

Helston Road is in Johnsonville/Newlands area. As I just described, it is quite dangerous to ride on.
I'm not begging for your support, just trying to build a case to get it fixed as it's basically a stuff-up.

If this proves sucessful then maybe in future, us motorcyclists will have more than the usual pitiful say with road conditions being rectified.

You should see parts of Remuera Rd (in particular, the hill before Meadowbank) in Aucks. You can barely see the road for tar snakes!
