I raced a few national events with him... he could rearly make 200kph because of the short track length, however 180kph with a bike that turns on a dime... he kick my arse plentyOriginally Posted by White trash

Yeah, raced at Kariotahi and Gizzy... I sold this to a guy down south once the council slapped $2000 pa resource consent contract that we obviously couldnt afford... so beachracing died, Gizzy still do it and Im keen to enter in this years nationals, I have the remains of a GPz750 beachracer... see how I go.Originally Posted by Motu

I doubt Peter would give out that info... there was another guy on a KX500 who was just as fast, but I dont think he and Peter ever raced.Originally Posted by markauckland

so where do you take it? obviously not here in tauranga, our sand is too beautifully soft and white, you musta taken it on the west side
Well what would you do? Run through the streets stark naked at 350 miles per hour with bells on your toes?
Ive riden beachracers in Auckland, Gizzy, Opotiki and wanted to race here (it could be done) but there are too many tities to distract you... you need your witts on these bikes, they tend to buck you offOriginally Posted by flash

Any 1 to go over 130kms on sand has either got no brain or big balls![]()
That would be bloody awesome!! I want one
I did the last beach race at Nelson's back beach......some PC whale saving pinko lesbian tree hugger ruined our fun.....bring it back i say. Dust off anything with tons of HP strap on a Knobbly and go racing, a Busa would be the No1 beach race weapon.
I question the sanity, 200kph with that front gaurd. My old XR600 at a ton was pretty untidy the front gaurd would tuck under with no warning (it was a good way to keep ya on ya toes).
Its harder to lose weight than gain horsepower.
The gaurd was pretty good...Originally Posted by spud racer
