Ah, high altitude Aquinas, good times! Was in Cumberland a few years ago. Halls are good, but a bit of a pain in the arse by the end of the year :eyepoke:

I'd be keen to go on some rides pretty soon. Gimme a PM a few days before hand and should be sweet. I'm on Harrow st with enough parking space accross the road to sort our shit before we leave if we need a meeting spot.

I'll keep a look out for a red Xelvis (Honda right?) under archway and Black Ninja under ISB.

Ha! BigBadWolf will be all clued up for doing that run with you - Mrs V and I took him out sightseeing in the cage yesterday and we did almost exactly that run, including John Wilson Drive. The only bit we missed out was the back roads through Blackhead, we shot out to Mosgiel over the motorway instead. We even took the windy roads through Ross Creek on the way back down to the Uni.

By the way Gamgee, was that you I saw getting on to a Ninja in Lower Stuart Street this morning (about 11ish)?

I working in Gymeeze shop right where you were parked. I went across the road to the car for tools, and saw you getting on your bike. I hesitated about approaching you ("Er, excuse me, are you Gamgee?"), by which time you were gone. Next time!

I think I had the same thing with Gamgee today, were you parked in the motorbike park near the Burns lecture theatres today? Beside a bright blue GSX? Saw someone getting on a black and red ninja but going up to some random asking if they are "Gamgee" kinda put me off

Yup sounds good, I'll sort my shit out asap and post up some times that I'm free. And yeah its a Honda, has Xelvis plastered all over the fuel tank and has quite a weird fairing on the front because bits are missing lol. If you walk past Unicol towards the OUSA lawn it will be on your left under Archway, there's a guy who parks his silver Beemer there as well.

You mean outside Dick Smiths? Yeah I was late to meet people so couldn't stop and say hi.

And re the soccer, are you guys a very competitive team? Cos I'm more of a "social" player... if you know what I mean... only position I can play slightly skilfully is goalie, out on the field I'm hopeless lol

    How about tomorrow?

We can do the short loop up through Middlemarch to Alexandra and back to Dunedin via Milton. Or the long loop over the pig route to Alex, via Queenstown to Gore, then back to Dunedin. Either way I'd join in at Alex and complete the loop after everyone else drops off in Dunedin.
    Time to ride

...And I'm currently in Cromwell for some R & R - and bikeless. (Had to bring the cage through with gear and passenger.) Forecast for today, fine and sunny, 27 deg. Tempted to drive back to Dunedin to swap vehicles...
