    HEY!!! My bike (Honda Xelvis) ain't exactly fast, but I called it Diavola Rosa (Red Devil)... it sounds awesome!

    And remember, Italy = Fiat Bambino as well...

    The Piece = La Parte
    The Shit = La Feci
    Speed = Velocità
    The Machine = La Macchina

    My vote still lies with La Bestia though.

    You can tell non-biker people it's called that and they will then think that GN250E stands for:

    "Giant Normally-aspirated 2.5 Litre Engine"

    Because it does.

    Most people in western countries may sniff at bikes like the GN250, but back when I was a teenager in Nepal, I used to lust after my mate's GN125. It was waaay faster than my Indian-made 'Hero' Honda CD100 and had a front disk brake to boot! Still, I did manage to carry a pillion quite easily, despite only having less than 10 hp!

    When I was going to uni in Auckland, I finally achieved my dream of owning a GN125. Had a great time with it too - even riding on the motorway is an adventure when you have to brace yourself against the push-pull aerodynamic effect of a passing lorry!

    No doubt you'll have plenty of laughs with your new steed too, Mark.

    Arrow Well done.

    Good to see you stepping in the right direction. Hopefully the GN will be the end of your hassles with buses.

    Good choice. A good bike to learn with. Remember to check/change the oil and filter regularly. You can tour the whole damn country on that thing .
