    sv 1000 s

been really considering the buell uly but really cant justify spending the $20,000 price tag for something that will sit about most of the time and is basically a hobby. my other thoughts are sv1000s very torquey and very appealing $12,500. thing is i hate the riding position, well handlebar height. my question is does anyone do a complete kit to fit renthals. i.e
extended cables, top yoke and risers, extended braided hoses clutch and brake, higher resevoir mount. i know the full kit is available in the uk for $1000 400 pounds but would rather buy here if i go for it.

    thanks

    Numb Hands

Yep I love my 1000s but hate the riding position get numb hands all the time, if you find out a cheaper way to raise the bar position I would be keen to know. Cheers

    Lol

Ignore D - he abandoned his VTR as soon as he found something uglier

Can't remember where, but i've seen adjustable clip-on's that don't involve all the guff you mentioned - adjustment can be made alomst instantly which is nice if you wanna tour then scratch.

Personally, i have no probs with the riding pos - all comes down to "bike fitness" i reckon. The more you ride it the more natural the position gets.

I've seen a few examples of poor build quality from the SV range.
