Thought it would be interesting to run a poll to see how many of us ride their bikes to work during the week.
Absolutely every day without fail, me hardass
Almost every day but sometimes give in
Only if the weather report says it won't rain or be too cold
I'm a big girl's blouse and only ride on sunny Sundays
What bike?

Ever notice that anyone slower than you is an idiot, but anyone going faster is a maniac?

Every day to work, every day on weekend. I think that I have had 6 days without riding a bike since I started (July 05).
"If life gives you a shit sandwich..." someone please complete this expression
I commute every day on my bike and go touring on days off. On the very occasional day that I don't ride my bike it feels wrong.
Once in a blue moon. Probably something like once in every 1 or 2 months if I am lucky.
That's soon to change hopefully though...
I work 6 days, sundays are my only day off.....3 sundays a year are sunny......
Most days. Only days I don't are when I have to lug something or someone, or something like taking a cage for a WoF at luchtime. Weather is not a valid reason not to ride.

On those days I always find an excuse to go for a blat after work when I'm feeling more alert. Even in the rain. I get some kind of strange enjoyment out of riding in the wet. You have to get everything just right.
That may change when the bike I've ordered finally arrives, I'll want to keep that dry. Maybe I'll need to keep the rat for rainy days, on one of those "ride to work only" registrations.
grrrr not as often as i would like
vurtually not at all last 12 mths![]()
(but give me a few weeks & that will change)![]()

asked Mom if I was a gifted child ... she said they certainly wouldn't have paid for me.
It's my only way to get to work and back, so every day rain or shine.
Usually a coro loop or kaiaua gp at the weekend as well...
Almost every day. Don't like to when it's threatening rain, not because of getting wet, but the bike has an intermittant wet weather issue which I'm not certain is solved. The one time I have ridden it in solid rain, it ran increasingly more roughly until after a few kays it decided it'd finally had enough and quit. Had to push the bloody thing to work, I was a grumpy Deviant by then! And rather soaked as well. :spudgrr:
Rode most of the almost 80km trip home (straight all the way, fuggit) last night in persistant drizzle, but the bike happily didn't miss a beat. Bloody glad it didn't; I was in the middle of nowhere and it was getting on for 1am.
But when I am certain the wet weather issue is solved, I'll probably still take the cage when it's raining. Can't be arsed changing and my work requires a neat appearance.
Soapbox house of cards and glass, so don't go tossing your stones around.
You musta been.... high. You musta been...
Pretty much everyday, altho everynow and then I'll take the car just to give it a run and keep the battery alive!
At the mo its still dark when I am riding into the city and its about 16/17º... really nice, could just keep heading north!
...it is better to live 1 day as a Tiger than 1000 years as a sheep...
I have two bikes,I ride when I feel like it.
Actualy I'm going for a ride out Hwy 16 way today.
Tomorrow I might head down 22 to Raglan- Te Awamutu-Arapuni-Te waotu-Tokaroa-Matamata-----HOME.
Enjoy your next two days day at work,I'm looking forward to the weekend, might go fishing.
Most days unless Im carting stuff to work.
