the dec/jan issue of NZBR has a comparo test between the MT-01 & BMW K1200R and the testers couldn't really split the two. the MT-01 had the akropovic kit on it and was the far better bike to play with at semi normal speeds ( which really is where everyone lives most of the time)

i'd have one any day if i had $30g ,its big n comfy with a real lazy motor (5500rpm red line)

    They are fucken ugly.

If it was a chick I'd have to be absolutely written before I'ld consider taking it home, and even then I wouldn't let it stay the night for fear that my mates might see it in the morning.
It's just one of those days, where you don't wanna wake up,
    everything is fucked, everybody sucks,
You don't really know why but you wanna justify ripping someone's head off

Nice concept, but failed in execution. Don't like the look of them at all.

The owner of Cycletreads up here in Ak owns/rides one of them, he has it parked in his showroom and when I asked what it went like he said there was plenty of power and a joy to ride. He also rides a trick ZX-12R and he rides it hard, on comparison of both bikes he simply said "different class of bikes but both bring a smile to my dial!".

Personally i'm not a naked bike fan, but apart from that aspect of the bike i'd reserve judgment till I ride it.

    Welcome to KB btw NG.

As a race-bike they can look good.

Team Over had one in the Suzuka 8 Hour last year but it failed to qualify.

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Actually - No it wouldn't - the land of the rising sun gives you fast, relaible and cheap.

Take it down to the clubhouse and see how it rates as tough.
