Late model Harleys go well, handle quite nicely and are pretty reliable. I KNOW - I've ridden every model in the range. So don't be a dick and say 'Harleys are....' UNTIL you've at least ridden one.
mmmm, the fishing's good today, you guy's bite so well.

Me, I've never ridden a HD, and have only ever sat on one. I don't really give a shit what you all ride, we're all bikers But because you guys tend to bite like this it makes it fun to poke the stick at you :eyepoke: Have a look at what I'm riding, it's hardly a sports bike either. One thing I really don't like about HD's is they're so bloody loud and you bastards like to leave them idling for ever outside my tent on a rally Sunday morning when I'm not feeling the best :slap: And one thing that I really am curious about is why is it that HD riders don't wave back?

Well, he paid the price for not doing the sensible thing. I guess we all make mistakes, hopefully not as bad as this one though...

    (BTW, "cahnces" isn't a word)

    $75,000 Hardley

Do all $75,000 Harleys come with broken tailights?

Yes actually, unless I'm a bit busy at the time. But I've never had a HD rider wave back to me, either on my current bike or previous (GSX750F), and I know that this is a common trait among HD riders. I don't know if they wave to each other or not.

Well there you go. Some people rather concentrate on their riding than concentrate on waving to every single joe blow that rides past.

I mean.. Its not like I go out and wave at every single cage I drive past.. :spudwhat:

So, you seem to be saying here that HD's require such a high level of concentration to ride that you could possibly give a give a friendly wave. This seems to confirm what everyone says about their handling. Never having riden one myself I wouldn't know, but I had wondered that. I assume that you ride one yourself and therefore speak with some authority on the subject? Or are you just talking shit?

Here ok, I was driving my cage through the Coro way. Yeah my cage. Waved to probably 20 bikers. Even stuck my hand out the window BIG WAVE. Even though I was in a cage, did I get a single wave back? Oh and lets not forget.. They were all on harleys.. ACTUALLY THEY WERE ALL SPORTSBIKES. Get over it. IF someone wants to wave to you, they will. And no I'm not talking shit. Just sick ofpeople taking the piss out of harley riders. Shall we bitch about everyone who don't wave? :slap:

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

I'd say exessive stupidity was a contributing factor in this accident.

I have. Ratty , Petal and Phoebe quite often get a wave from HDs. Especially Ratty for some reason. Can't remember getting a wave back on Der Uberfarter though. But then no-ones waves to him. I think they're all mesmerised by the steady clomp of the jackboots.
