Yeh a few of us will be taking a fairly relaxed ride down there...

Would imagine that a high speed bike race is a magnet to high speed road riders... and that's what the HP counts on.

I'd also insure that L plates and that are being used where appropriate... the HP are ticket happy at any times, but paeroa will be like shooting fish in a barrel i'd imagine.

Hey Scumdog, quick question if you don't mind?

Cop car sitting on the side of the road at night with radar on, I remember hearing a while ago that they have to have atleast their park lights on (for safety an all that), is this true?

Reason I ask is there was one sitting up the Kaimais tonight on the roadside just around the corner after the passing lane ends at the top. Fortunately saw him there on my way to Putaruru, but didn't spot him on the way back in the pitch black until almost beside him.
It's just one of those days, where you don't wanna wake up,
    everything is fucked, everybody sucks,
You don't really know why but you wanna justify ripping someone's head off

Old M.O.T. rule (made it easy to spot 'em a long ways off back then).

Today? It's up to the officers discretion (now theres a word!!) as to how safe he is without the park lights on.

Me? heh heh heh, when I know of a speed-problem area the gloves are off and you'll never see where I came from!! (day or night).

    Unless I'm just playing.

Do you know it is possible to sit out in full open visibility on a bright sunny day and still get people doing 70+ in a 50? - AND even with the red'n'blues going you can STILL get people speeding towards you!

There was a nice white Comode ute up near Waiouru the other day. Parked beside a farm gate.... Guess What! Well, we were heading south, but he did start to follow the noth bound traffic at pace.

Hey Scumdog, you need to get a radar detector mate, so you get a little warning before the cop shows up, do it for your heart, its not against the law so you might as well, do you think the police will have an issue with it?
Ive run out of fucks to give
