Not quite this day and age - that video would have to be at least 20 years old. The newest looking car I saw was a mid-eighties Mitsi Mirage.

    Dial-up people note - well over 30Mb - I'm still downloading!

BULLSHIT! I saw an R32 Skyline, would make it 1989 at the oldest.

Noticed that it was fairly old footage, was a HUGE number of trucks on the road.

Noticed a strange lack of modified cars too?

You see an abundance of commercial vehicles and a lack of nice cars because it is a tolled expressway, one of the hundreds accross Japan. Most people driving their own cars stick to the city streets to avoid the tolls, and in the case of modified or nice cars to cruise. No sense in cruising where people can't see you!! Haven't driven on one in the city (have in the countryside) but now I believe the signs that flashed 'traffic jam - 35km'.

I saw a number of vehicles that didn't start production before 89-89 and also a J or K series GSXR on the back of that pick-up.

Oh yeah, it's still very much alive and well over there.

He's narrow and quick but I didn't see too much out of the ordinary (apart from all the trucks). I thought you guys in Auckland would have similar journeys based on what I read about your traffic congestion.

    Hmmm, that could turn messy.

What was so wrong with that? It was some pretty average (boring) lane spitting. Try watching the Paris Ring road video.

Nah, that's pretty normal for places like Tokyo.

What a dude. "Why queue?", indeed.

Saw a video of a motorcycle courier in London once. Thwack, thwack, thwack, thwack...smashing wing mirrors as he hooned down the street at mach 2...
