I think it does have something to offer.

I think its purpose is to be an small bike with racey chassis. Since the death of the 400cc inline 4s (And the Honda V4s) and the 250 2-strokes nothing has really existed since that could take their place. The SV650 and ER-6, fine vehicles I am sure, are not the out and out sports bikes that they have sort of replaced. While a modern 600cc inline 4 (Or 675 triple, or 750 twin...) is 'small' they are still bigger and heavier than an old school 250 or 400.

I'd really like a go on one. I am hoping/wondering if it would out-boogie my gsxr or rvf.

Interesting to note the motor is based on the Hyosung 650.

    Fischer MRX 650

it's gone into production! The Hyosung powered Fischer MRX 650 concept for the US, and it's beautiful! These are the same guys linked to American Legend Motorsports.

    Check out the specs here:

    http://www.fischer1.com/fischer-mrx-...tions-2006.htm

    Read the review here:

Below are a some pictures including a pre-production test ride. Note that it's lot smaller than the GT650R and close to a Triumph Daytons 675. I'm certainly impressed ! Gee, and it's eligible for F3 and the 650 twins classes.

Love the performance options though. it's not the price, but more that thy've been able to take the Hyo engine, and build a better bike. Remember that cagiva were also considering that engine for the Raptor.

Maybe Fischer can help Hyosung produce better bikes.
