Trying to think of movies with bikes in them when one sprang to mind - not a typical biker movie tho. I think it was called Mask - starring Cher - about her son with the deformed face, but set around the biker scene in the states. Good movie - quite sad tho.

Has anyone seen the Hong Kong film "Full Throttle", 1995?

Lots of NSR250 2-stroke madness interweaved with a half-decent storyline and thankfully free of all the cheesey buggary-bollocks of 'Torque' and 'Biker Boyz'.

    Here's the plot:
'Joe, a motorcycle street racer who takes part in illegal racing all over Hong Kong one night meets a younger racer, David, and the two become friends. But, David is a professional racer being sponsored by Lau’s estranged dad. Joe wants to prove he’s the best, so he and David go at it until something absolutely awful happens, causing Joe to re-evaluate his life. New star Gigi Leung is the girlfriend who tells Joe not to race again.'

Really fast riding scenes (I heard professional racers actually died in the making of- unconfirmed), and this movie also makes you think; particularly about the pieces that have to get picked up after a tragedy.

I recommend it. Try and download it or something.
(You'll need subtitles though 'cos it's in Chinese/Cantonese/Mandarin???)
    Keep it rubber-side down...

Remember to never split an infinitive. The passive voice should never be used. Do not put statements in the negative form. Proofread carefully to see if you words out. And don't start a sentence with a conjugation. (William Safire)

Oh my God, I just found out this was released on DVD at the end of last year. I'll pick up a copy when I'm back in England next month then have a viewing one night. Trust me - it's a classic.

There is actually a new one out that I rented "biker kings" or something. It was probably the only movie I have ever turned off out of shear boardom. DO NOT HIRE IT
