I got me a road bike finally! :)

    Hey everyone,

Just updating all my mates here in KB with my latest situation bike wise.

I've just sold my CBR400RR and my RS125 GP bike.

The GSXR will be the next one to go hopefully.

Just on Saturday night, I picked myself up a 1992 CBR 600 from Wellington. To avoid repeating history with blowing another engine on an older bike, I will be getting the motor freashned and a few other things done on it ASAP.

After that, it'll be road rides all the way just like the old times! It's gonna be mint!!

    Awesome

I agree with bugjuice, it'll be good to see ya on the road again.

What stuff are you getting done to it? I'm being a bit cautious with my new bandit too, I'm going to check the valve clearances before taking it on any rides plus sort out the brakes and get a new chain.

What a shitbox, i had to resist big time from kicking it over in the carpark, mainly from fear you would kick the Gix over the next day, not fear of you in person, i'd lock your skinny arse in a 40fter and watch you roast inside it, then feed you to john's kids, more fear of having to spend more money than i have to.

All in all mate, will be good to have you out there again, shame you have an excuse for not keeping up now

$2,500 man. It's just got high milage but I'll spend money on it to make it reliable. Replace the cam chain and go through the whole motor to check for any trouble. Then all the bearings etc etc.

I can see why people love these bikes. Its so damn easy to ride around corners on. Compaired to this, my GSXR is WAY more technical to ride fast!

It'll be great to BE back! Yep valve clearances are a must. I'm doing the same with mine.

If a gay dude on a '92 CBR600F flys past you around corners, while you are on your '06 GSXR1000, how bad are you going to feel? So, I feel sorry for you my friend.
