    coming back from paeroa races

racing was great, first time i have been, omg i wanna ride like stroud haha.
after long hot day we left me on my gsx250 across and my father in law with mother in law as pillion on his tlr1000. well we got past the castle at mangatawhiri and then took a left that takes you to mercer omg some great corners on the road some fast and some slow 45s. well i was stoked i could keep up with him on the corners ( he wasnt going slow ) but as soon as straights came up off he went, which just made me want a gsxr600. but on one occasion he didnt notice me overtake which was pretty cool but then he looked in his blindspot and saw me and smiled and dropped it a gear. so you can guess what happened next.
any ways it was great day and look forward to it next year.
i was wearing grey singlet, khaki shorts, blue bag on, and beetroot face.
definately keen to meet some kb'ers some time soon and go for ride as i pretty keen.
    p.s. i want a gsxr600

    FYI
the next road on the right (Lyons rd) from that one will take you through to Bombay or Hunua on backroads.

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

i went that way cause they live in pukekawa, up the road from mercer. so would be a bit of a side track. i have also riden state highway 22 which was cool as it was my first ride properly and did about 100km whole way, sorta got scared when it rained and lost nerve but then thought fuck it and kept riding at pace just being little more cautious.

'Tis a darn good road that one... was on it yesterday as well. The bridge at the Mercer end is now in action and you have to go around the back of the gas station & pub to get onto the bridge (coming from north on SH1).
