Nah i don't think that way. Couldn't possibly make up my mind until i've actually got to know the bike inside and out, and you can't do that on a *test ride*, comes after several months usage when you can say you are 'one with the bike'! You know what i mean jelly bean?

Yeah I know what you're saying mate, I do like my blade like I said and its a great all round bike but after testing (on quite good long test rides) the others especially the Kwaka and the Gixxer give ya far more of a buzz when riding.

    Fairy nuff then!

But I do believe that the buzz factor you speak of comes more from within the rider than the bike! There ain't huge amounts of difference between all the modern thous, in fact *on the road* a CBR could blitz a ZX or Gixxer with the right rider in the saddle!!

No mate.......bikes are infectious......I would love a Ducati 996 but a) cannot afford one b) you cannot have everything in life c) sometimes you do not realise what you have and d) you are greedy.....in the nicest possible way..

Probs is you would get a Gixxer or ZX10 by which time there will be something better......

If you are then you shouldn't be on a Blade, or any other Thou for that matter in the first place...surely you're being too hard on yerself there!

At the end of the day you know what you like and dislike, and what's a buzz for you to ride and what isn't...we are all different in that respect.

Yeah very true, think I may upgrade to a GN250 perhaps? or a tricycle with yoshimura stickers on it?

I can vouch for the fact that Fishslayer is not a shit rider.
He can move when he wants to, when his doughnuts are in good shape.

I personally would like a GSXR1000 K5 as a hoon bike, but not for any rides longer than a couple of hours. That comes from being close to 50.

Even if I had a GSXR1000, I would still have a GSX1400. A lot of the new sportsbikes virtually do anything you ask of them and then more. Sure you can get into a heap of trouble if you are inexperienced on them, but generally you cannot out ride them, except on the track.

However, on the GSX1400, you can outride it, so you can ride to it's limits and work at getting the most out of it. This I find very satisfying. A fast run through some tight twisties gets the sweat up, believe me. I find this most enjoyable Who needs to go to the gym when you can wrestle a 1/4 ton of bike around the corners.
