    CHCH Riders

Look out for the corner of Cashel St and Madras. The new IRD building has spread fine gravel all over the intersection. Just seen 2 accidents so far.

    With its hands........

The grader/digger/dump truck thing droped a heap of it when it went around the corner.

EDIT: Yay, a 3rd crash! (minor bumper smash.)

So where are you sitting to see these crashes? I used to get a good view of them from my office on the 3rd floor of the CTV building but then they made us move to boring old Lichfield St.

Here's an opportunity for you southern men to show us your gravel riding skills, wasn't Motu giving a lecture on gravel riding in an earlier thread? Read up and try it out!

The amount of times I see guys run reds on this intersection is amazing. In fact there is even one particular V8 that works at Blackwells that does it. Guess he is in trouble now, he had his ding when he hammered on the brakes at 16:46.

    Council is onto it now.

Oakie, Im on the corner of lichfeild and madras. Im working on the roof today getting some cabling done (IE: Im doing nothing bar sitting up here with the laptop on the net) and Im watching it. I can se down girls shirts from up here too.

You lucky lucky .... hmmm, hows about hooking up a web cam pointed down? We don't get much attractive foot traffic on our part of Lichfield.
You on that building with all the scaffolding around it?

If you're observant (and it's a big if ) you'd probably see me go home that way most nights.
