Probably a codec issue, told ya they're a prick. That's one of the good bits about the VLC player, no codec issues yay. I wouldn't delete GK though, you'll find a use for thatJust dump codecs till it goes (you can remove them individually

Started doing that last night, still not resolved though. I'll carry on tonight.
Maybe you could try just reinstalling virtualdub?
Good suggestion. Hopefully I'll have change to have a look tonight fella.
Uninstalled and re-installed a few times but to no avail. I'm out tonight imdying so have to be later.
