Same issue with Ducati 93-04 sbk , looks like the're made it too light / thin.
Will be ordering a sidestand from these guys shortly. Not sure if the RSV stand would suit , but worth checking out http://www.cyclecat.com/

Congrats. Really nice bike - I seriously considered one - think they are a vastly underated piece of kit - probably the best all round Priller - just wasnt ready to go back to V twins after the howl of a multi........!
