Looks hot in red and white. It's certainly got the cool looks from the front and a sexy tight rear end. Did the usual, sniff it, pock it, smell it, sit on it, rev it ! very, very nice exhaust note. No need to waste money on aftermarket cans here. It feels as light as my 636, maybe a fraction lighter.
No demo in town yet. $17,500 for those interested.
    Worth a look, it's a head turner.
Apparently suzuki is selling the 06 750 for less than that (Well at least in the uk)

DB is the new Porridge. Cause most of the mods must be sucking his cock ..... Or his giving them some oral help? How else can you explain it?

Good point. Yamaha have admitted the rev counter over reads by about a 1000 so go tell the shop the price tag must also over read by 1000, here's my $16,500 cheque.

I think that the GSXR600 K6 looks like arse, which is sad, because I really liked the K5.

I rode it last night!!! Yay!

It was kind of painful though because it had to stay under 6k rpm - oh the humanities! First impressions - stubby pipe sounds cool, front brake didn't seem to bite that much but maybe that's cause it had only done about 20ks, and it feels kind of human (in an odd kinda way) when you're sitting on it. And it's prettttty. Don't know about the air intake though (personally) - looks like someone held a .303 up to it's head. I just want to see what it'll do over 6k rpm though!

Bloody favouritism to a Chick !
Told us no demo and the one they had was sold. Was it the Sawyers one you rode? Or have you bought it?
Yeah Weasel new brakes are useless for a few hundred ks sometimes. That link hitcher posted said it's weak under 6,000 revs. Bye, it's time to head off to Manfeild. yawn, try and wake up. Bugger it's still dark.

I like the way they have integrated the central running light into it, gives it an agressive stance, unlike the current 999 series Ducatis where the light looks like an afterthought

Is it the states that legislated the central runninng light?

Saw one in the flesh today, thanks to the lads from TSS who had a showroom and demonstrators at the top of the Takas.

The MT01 did more for me than did the R6...

    each to their own

Pretty good write up in PB mag on the 06 R6 which I read this am, I guess at the end of the day its what you can afford/and what you prefer, nearly bought the GXXR 600 last time, but settled on another R6(the third one I have owned from new)have had no reason to regret that choice.

For me I know that at my skill level (were ever that may be), it's not going to make any difference what brand I buy, so I guess that will mean another R6.

Atleast it Will save me having to change my avatar.
