The Griso gets good write ups so it'll be interesting to read your comments.

    Enjoy!

D brought it past my work and I must say it is a very good looking piece of machinery. Except that pipe...

D and 'some strays' popped around with the Griso. Looks good- nice detailing and paint etc. Gigantic exhaust....

Is it really you though D? No wind protection, quiet as, not real quick? I reckon Guzzi will produce something more 'you' soon.

Sorry SP have too... they just left our place, and all I can say is that is the ugliest pipe I have ever seen!

However that aside, its quite nice! Not my cup of tea, but I can see why someone would want one.

ah well a time to have my say first...
When I first got on it had to do a uturn on mina north road, anyone who knows the area knows it fkn busy, so pulled into a side street instead, then had trouble getting to turn it around cos the bars are so wide and I was kinds fully stretched! (and not in the way you dirty buggers )
So managed to get it round, with D waiting...not so patiently for me I might add...typical.
So off we go for a blat out to Rangiora. I was surprised at just how nimble it was, it felt really light, not much heavier than the Buell. The riding position is more upright than the Buell, with wider bars. Now I didn't mind the wide bars at all, but the angle to the levers is also flat on the bars so i was having to reach a lot, with my arms out wide in order to change gears/brake, that wasn't very comfortable. It would be a little better angle a few degrees angled in for me personally, but prob fine for most blokes with bigger hands. Once I figured out how to taking off in first: ride the clutch and bit and actually give it some revs ( my bike just fkn takes off, almost no revs /throttle required) it was sweet.
Very comfy seat and apart from the my poor sore hands trying to change gear it was very smooth, and actually fairly quick acceleration. I found it a bit strange barely being able to hear the motor, even the V11 I can hear better... that pipe would HAVE to go!
As I normally ride an almost naked bike I didn't find the wind much problem, about the same as the Buell i think...altho there wasn't much at the time i was on the griso so it seemed the same to me.
I was actually impressed with it. It seemed light to manouvre, quite different to the Buell (easier tho as my bike has no turning circle at all), so that would take a little getting used to, but I think I could almost add this bike to my 'perfect bike garage' one day...and so far it only contains the Buell, nothing else has quite made the grade yet
    ...I WAS IMPRESSED!
oh yeah and one piccie of me on it.

Nice write-up, the bar problem sounds like it would not be too hard to fix, and the muffler? well a few $$ will 'fix' that too!

    PS:
I know what you mean about not needing to use any revs to take-off, I'm so use to letting the clutch out and THEN opening the throttle on my bike I stall just about any other bike first time I go to move off.

    Guzzi

Those cylinders look like great knee protectors / warmers.
What's the model in the enclosed pic? Taken at Bay 1 night stand Waitangi weekend.

Hey Rashika you're making me drawl -so do you reckon if I got it a real muffler (not right having a guzzi you can't hear) it'll be the ideal new ride for me then?

Hey nadroj that bike is a Breva 1100 I think.
