    Bikers down..

Just heard two motorbikes down in the Haast Pass at Fantail Falls area, no further details yet but Ambo,Police and Fire en route....

EDIT: And they're a LONG way from any emergency services at that location.

Yeah, I know that stuff, nothing to do with KB etiquette either!

BTW Location is about 100km+ west of Wanaka

UPDATE: riders MAY be part of a group, two down, both conscious, female has broken legs(s)

Female is the more injured, likely to need chopper to get her out, other rider not bad at all.

Ouch. Hope they get the help they need fast.

Sounds like it may have been the Moto Guzzi Club riders ...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Be aware people that info is sketchy and while it appears that this was a group of bikes it may also have been the case of a group coming across a couple of bikes that have crashed.....

And the injuries are to one leg.. other rider o.k. (more or less) but crash happened about 90 minutes ago so the injured rider will be aching a bit.
