Sat 4th March: Reconnaissance Ride for L Ride (Attn: Trainers)

Right, Weasel and my New Rider's Day Out 2 will happening the next day. This ride is to check the route for any possible new problems, and for trainers to have a look at the route, if they so wish. Therefore, this (Saturday) ride is not for the newbies, but will not be fast paced either.

It will be a full run of the actual route, including the scheduled stops and a couple of additonal stops for dangerous corners we think should be noted. If you have offered to lead a group and are not 100% sure of the route, then this is for you!!!!

Meeting place is the same as the learner ride - Shell, Westgate, 10:30 AM, for a 11:00 AM leave.

Any riders welcome (except absolute newbies), this is not restricted to those helping on the ride.

We will be going through SH16, Old North Rd, Peak Rd, SH16 to Wellsford, and then back again, through the same route. All up, about 160km.

I thought about it, but things may change so I may not be able to attend, easier to just rock up.

BUT, if you want to see a pretty little list of names i'll register my interest, just for you Gremlin.

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
