    Crashed 24/2/06

Long story short got hit by a 4x4 and took a bull bar to the leg which sent more for a six, rolled a fair way down the road turning a couple of times. came to a rest under a parked car.

So the bike is a bit scratched up gonna have to get some plastic welding done but lucky i have heaps of parts from putting this one together minus a few i'm gonna have to track down. the pipe is still all good cause it went down on the left hand side.

got a bit of road rash on my hands, knees and lower back where my jacket road up. tore my jeans open and trouble walking on the leg where the 4x4 hit me. Still waiting to hear back form the cops.

Pretty sure the helmet is going to be retired and i can now vouch for Quasi moto leathers cause man i would of been with a hell of a lot more road rash without the leathers and more brusing in the shoulders from rolling, the armour is amazing. I highly reckomend them .sad thing was about I'm 2 weeks away from getting the leather pants when the shipment comes in, oh well ya can't win them all.

Big ups to momentum and my father an law who put the bike on a trailer for me and dropped it off.

Thank god i can walk away from this one and it was at a low speed. Stay safe out there, cause man it hurts if you don't.

Good to hear your alright, those 4X4's can be arseholes on the road, who was at fault, what happened?

Coming home from Puhoi going up the hill where the new motorway is coming out, a JAFA in a 4X4 thought he could out do me, sat in the passing lane speeding up and almost lost it on the corner. Then when I managed to get pass him, what does he do, of course he slows down.

Then gets stuck in a traffic jam from Waiwera to Orewa ... hahaha road justice

Thankfully you're ok. And your bike doesn't sound too banged up so that's good too.
Got my Quasi gear coming shortly so I'm pretty happy that they work alright. Now to get a crash proof bike!

Hope it's a quick recovery. Please don't combine bull bars and 4x4 in one sentence - my pet hates
