That sounds good Velox. We have to head away from Auck on Sat avo though as the other half has to fly outta Welly at mid-day on Sunday.

So the time has rolled around that this is actually valid and we're going!!

So is anyone heading through to Auckland on Thursday the 23rd and want to tag along with us?

We'll be leaving here fairly early, no planned route, probably the shortest possible, staying at a mates in Onehunga, crusing around the bike shops etc on Friday, concert Friday night

and then heading home Saturday, possibly stopping somewhere like Taupo for the night then onwards on Sunday.

going to friday concert.

Taking the cage, drive to akl, and back same day, handy have part of my work just down the road, so i can park the car at.

Just checking on Australian U2 concert and aparantly "Support act will remain the same; Kanye West has confirmed he will perform as Special Guest on all Australia and New Zealand dates."
So that clears that up, I was hoping it would be someone cool, like Greenday or even a NZ band like Op Shop or someone, oh well.

I'm going on the Saturday but I'm only riding as far as Palmy cos that's where I'm flying from (I really couldn't ride fast enough on the ginny to get me up to Auckland for the Saturday night concert! LOL).

Coming back on the Sunday.

Going sans hubby cos he's having to go overseas with work - he's gutted! Leaves 3 days before the concert!! Thank god I have a mate who wants the ticket cos I wouldn't fancy going on my lonesome!
