Toyota Camry unmarked Police car

I saw a black Nissan patrol, I think it was anyway, tearing down the southern on Monday... Lights and crap but it had a roof rack sort of thing on it.
Sorry I can’t be more positive but we passed each other at speed on opposite sides of the motorway and I was in the left lane.
Probably a special unit thing, haven’t seen it befor tho…

Damn I been lucky then. Anything could be a cop car. Mucho Respect to those cops on the bikes, very vulnerable when there on their own. I wouldn't fancy doin a high speed persuit on one, escpecially if your chasing a villain in a car who woudn't hesitate to take you out. They got some big balls.

I saw that black Patrol on TV news one night at an AOS call-out in South Auckland somewhere (well that's where all the AOS callouts are, aren't they?), so I'm guessing that's what it is. Guess those fellas prob wouldn't care about speeding bikes. Prob just as well, don't fancy my chances against a big gun.

Dunno what he's driving these days, but the cop in Waiouru a few years ago had an RS Legacy sedan. Have seen a few of the camrys as well, even saw a cop in a 323 one time, but he may have been just driving his own car after finishing a shift. He was in the lane next to me turning away into a side street so it was only a glimpse, did a double take when I saw the uniform but was too late to check for lights on the dash.

You have to wonder how many are false ID's when people are reporting some of these "muftis", I know a guy that reckons any car with a LPG sticker or an after market aerial is a cop.
