How much does this cost when buying a new bike from a dealer nowdays?

Basically the cost of registering the bike for the road - around $380. Anyone know the exact amount?

Well, Motomart in Lower Hutt charged us $500 (1 year reg)
I questioned this at the time but was assured this was the cost.

Depends on the dealer. Another reason I didn't buy my bike from the wankers at Sportzone here in Chch. I don't remember the actual amounts they quoted me now, but in their "on road costs" they wanted to include the cost of 1st time registration plus a bit more for them having to do it plus the cost of the oil they would have to put in the bike. So I went to Jeff Marshall in Ashburton who just charged me the standard 1st time registration cost as quoted by the local post office.

As I say, I don't remember the actual cost now, but check around and if there's a difference ask what you're getting for your money.

$311.00 for initial reg, whatever the WOF costs, some dealers may include a PDI charge. Under $400.00 total is reasonable.
