I would think that has more to do with them not wanting the Police knocking on the door since they were more than prepared to deny it before and no doubt had had some kind of discussion behind closed doors's (arseholes)..As John said it is important to get a ACC incident report,if there was any repercussions later they will do all they can to wriggle out of it.The fact that WorMolds was prepared to do a cover up stinks.Good Luck with reaming them and excellent skills on nailing them.

Handed my Insurance forms in today so I should get an answer on Monday if they have accepted everything. Also have given them my receipts for the boots and pants as well.
Wormalds has been ringing everyone witness etc about what happened. I would say from what I have heard that the guy is in serious shit from the company and maybe the police. The witness also has told me he went to the Police station today to put in a statement and they told him he did not have to make one anymore - Why would this be for anyone in the know? Is it because the driver may have confessed?

I haven’t taken my bike to a shop before for servicing etc because I have don’t it all myself – I’m thinking either Botany MC (Closest) or Mt Eden MC to do the repairs on this. We have a trailer to take the bike in but I’m worried about the fork seals. The Insurance Company from what I understand may/will pay for the bike shops to pick the bike up. What should I do and are Fork Seals an issue on CBR250’s?
    Cheers

Sorry, can't help on the other questions...

Been out of town and catching up on 9000 posts.... just read thru this whole thread, looks like you've ahd lots of good support and advice and the outcome should be good. Still a pain to have to go thru tho...

Do you know John and Paul in the workshop at Botany Honda? They're really helpful, and from my limited point of view, quite skilled at what they do. If not tell them you've been recommended to them by mates on KB, eg me, felix, JSG etc. They are starting to appreciate how a good rep on KB can help business!!

Just started following this thread and am pleased to see you got a result. Sucks that you had to go to all the trouble to get the truth but at least now their insurance will pay for the repairs so you wont have to worry (hopefully) about that. And yes go for all you can get ACC etc every little detail in case as someone else said it gets worse at the onset of old age.

Wow and interesting read with a happy ending.. Still think that Wormalds could have come clean a little earlier (corporate responsibility an all that) so I will go to the opposition if I am ever in need thier services..!

After hearing what my uncle had to say, Wormald’s is not at fault, the driver was falsifying the story to them and Wormald’s could only go by his word.
The driver has even changed his story to the cops a few times already.

Edit.... I still don’t like the fact they where rude to us sometimes on the phone at the start...

Narp they are at fault, they employed the guy and are probably in major damage control now..There are responsibilities that come with being an employer (one being the way you choose them) and a lot of companies are all to ready to plaster thier logo all around the place to bring in the business but will eagerly pass the buck to a contractor or blame it all on a single employee when the publicity doesn't suit.

What ever happend to that thread that had Dangerous being run off by a trucking company in CHC..? More damage control..?
