Edit.... I still don’t like the fact they where rude to us sometimes on the phone at the start...
So whats deal? Is he not getting done for it? Not even for not stopping after an accident?

    An update.

Should have the bike back early next week YAY!!!!
The bike shop now has all the major parts (there may be a few still to come but I should still ride the bike in the mean time) and the fairings around 90% done.

Insurance has paid out for both the bike and the boots and pants. Though the Boots and pants has come out of my parent’s contents/house insurance but from what understand no excess or no claims loss. I got back my old gear and going to use them as spares etc since they are not that bad. This time when I get all the new gear I am going to try and get it added to my insurance to make things easier etc.

Driving the "tin top" has just about made me nutz and the sooner I loose that the better, though im grateful I have it in these times lol.

    Cheers

    Wink

Well after 7.5 loong weeks since the incident I have finally got my bike back . The paint shop after many attempts at getting the paint the right colour and issues getting the paint to stick in places it looks pretty good. If you look at it closely enough you can see the slight difference in the painted and non painted fairing panels but to me its not worth worrying about (time etc). The funny thing was because I had some random chain on my bike and the had to break it apart to replace the swing arm they didn’t get any parts to join it back up again, so free chain as well. Driving the tin top around for that long has just about had side effects and even worse it failed its warrant last week for a seat belt which we now have parts for.

Cheers once again to all for all your help, advice and support. Daniel..
