    KR 150A Problem

Hi, I Have a little neat bike to squirt around on for work/fun etc with one cronic health problem that I am unable to cure. Any help would be great.
It has a baaaaaad flat spot between 6000 and 7000 rpm which makes for misserable corner bouncing and highway work, below and above this rev range all is brilliant, running 91 and a good castrol oil, have checked and pulled most things only with minor improvements gained. Is it a flaw with thses bikes? Some have said KIPS timing is out, any help would be great. Has done 26000kms, any ideas when rings should be done?, starts easily. Has a no.1 needle and is on its highest setting, rest of bike is stock standard. KIPS valve is not sticking, movement is free and not carboned up. Any easy mods to get fun out of these little machines?? Its a great little rice burner, just need this wee prob sorted TA

Have to wonder why the needle is on it's highist setting? That wouldn't be standard.
