Sounds easy when you say that, but what if the fork tubes are different length between the two models?
Then there's that whole spring too tight, or bouncing up and down thing.
And what if you put the VFR forks into the Bros triples and the forks are too short in length? How good are you at maths?
You'll need to be to work out the correct length of the dogbones to get the steering geometry right again.
If I were you I'd forget it, buy some Progressive springs and Race-tech valve emulators.
Or maybe just change the fork oil...
