    The 600 springs are too stiff for a Bros. And the damping rates still need changes to suit the bros. The 400 one is a simple conversion. The spring rate is very close and the dampining only needs slightly heavier oil (make your own 12wt by mixing 10wt and 15wt)

    thanks thats what im wanting to know.

    the forks are bent but they are pepairable, i was considering having the originals fixed then using racetech progressive springs and racethech gold valve emulators. i'll be on the look out for a cbr400 front end though

    ah the forks are bent.

    there isnt much size diff between the vfr and bros though so whats the point? i might just buy that vfr to do the engine as a project
