Any bike that keeps on keeping on in the obscenely bad state mine is in gets my vote. Honda's are all good.

It's interesting to see how many people judge an entire brand's worth soley on it's top sport bike.
Regardless of how pointless and unsuited to road use they are.

Who's fallen for the marketer's bullshit?Come on hands up.

Honda's are gay cause Boomer rides one. If he ever see's the light and buys a GSXR, I'm gonna have to sell mine and get an R1!

And don't knock Fishslayer, good on him for being smart and realising the error of his ways!!! lol
It's just one of those days, where you don't wanna wake up,

There was a mint R1 parked outside my work today.. brand spankin new.. black and looking like teh sex!!!!!!!!!!1111111!!!!

The other reason these die hard wanna be's ride suzi's is they need all teh extra power they can get to try and keep up with the smoother riders.. only it has its pitfalls in that they keep fallen off em. Not only at high speeds but slow speeds too.

Take ya time, take a visit to parnell, have ya mocca then ride.. yoru sure to get there faster than a suzi rider cos you know they'll be lying down on the job somewhere

It has come to my attention that in recent times Honda have got a bad reputation for warrenty issues, as in they find any excuse to put the problem back in the poor buyers lap.

I think Blue wing do not put much effort into racing either.
When did a honda last win a superbike championship in this country?
Or even a national championship race?
Hmmm, that goes for the 600 class as well....
They seem to do ok in other countries, the difference is the amount of effort put in I spose...
Suzuki seem to put a huge effort in, followed by Yamaha.
I must admit Kawasaki are lagging behind in this area too.
I do not think it is a fluke that there is a sea of blue and white suzukis out there now.

I agree that none of the bike manufactures make lemons any more.
In fact, I reckon we have never had it so good for the sheer amount of choice available now.
The last lemons I can remember are way back in the 80's
MVX250's, NSR400's come to mind, who made those bikes again?

Nah , your being over senseitive.

Over the last couple of years it's been all sorts

    Eg
    Vtwins verse Inlines (VTwins rule)
Vtwin sound verse induction roar (No contest)
Honda's verse Suzuki (I find them hard to tell apart, I get them mixed up)
R1 Verse GSXR verse CBR verse ZX and many more ( This one puts me to sleep)
Et Al verse Jap (Handbuilt verse mass produced)
Everyboby verse Harley (because we are affaid we'll like them if we ride one)
Old verse New ( Cause us oldies still think our old stuff is new)

That's the great thing about motorcyclist , we're all diverse and into different bikes. Most often it's poking a bit of fun at each other's bikes.

Haven't owned or riden a Honda yet , will be trying an older trasnalp for a couple of weeks soon. I hope it doesn't let me down , but there's no reason it should.

Being serious, it doesn't matter what others think. Everybody has their own preferences for what they enjoy, and hence, choose accordingly. I think part of this is that we all love our own bikes so much, that we feel obliged to get as many onto our brand as possible, and "show them the light"

Then again, you have boomer riding some little toy, and stifarms riding a slug (I believe he calls it a vtr1000 or something).

All of you stop moaning and get a Kawasaki. You won't need to bother to try to prove how good you are or how crappy others are. It's like dragging cars off the lights. You can, but you already know, so what's the point??

You already know you are the best

edit: Read a little more, all brands get slagged off.

Cause everyone needs something to pick on.
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

That'd kill a good part of the Italian bike market.

Hondas are just as good as any other sprotbike for road use, the rider will be the decider on which is quickest. But, because they have a couple of hp less and are a poofteenth slower flat out they are instantly obsolete.
Their main problem is the people who buy them, and I'm only generalising here after having met Finn and Boomer.

I have to be honest, I just don't really like Honda's. Whether it was the "You meet the nicest people on a honda" ad from several centuries ago when I was into v8's or the couple of Honda's i have owned that were plainly boring, I don't know.
Sorry they just don't do it for me, must be a bigot!:spudwhat:

    What's wrong with Boomer?
