Can you see the starter motor?
Can you see the starter motor?
Why would he want to start it? That tank wouldn't hold enough gas to get to the next servo...
ACC - It's where the Enron accountants all went.
ha thats the mock-up bike that Dunlop used in the early 80s.
if i remember right the quote went something like " are your tyres struggling to keep up with your bike" or something to that effect anyhow.
used to be a regular backpage ad in BIKE magazine
Ah,I knew I had seen it before, and a long time ago too.I found it this time looking for some info about tuning SU carbs, and this has atleast 6 of them! Obviously a mock up,you can't even turn the front wheel....I'd like to know a bit more about the engine, aircraft for sure, and by the look of the cyl heads I'd say 60s...and that's the overall look of bike and rider too, although it was more likely built in the 80s.The starter motor is down by the front wheel, complete with Amal Concentric - I'd say the motor is a runner.
found an old issue of motorcycle mechanics (dec79) with the ad.Originally Posted by Motu
the engine sure is a brute; semi radial design , 24 cyl, dual port induction etc, theres actually two starter motors ( one either side of the motor).
a real target towards the greasy biker/rocker of pommy fame in the 60s & 70s
Anyone one see the resemblance of the rider to one Mr Burns of the Simpsons??
